The order starts with the VIN, not the model year. Two cars that look identical on the street can take different panes depending on the options fitted, and the sensor bracket, the humidity sensor pad, the tint band and the acoustic layer all have to match or something stops working properly afterwards. Once the correct glass is here the fit is straightforward: old pane out, pinch weld cleaned and primed where needed, new urethane laid in one continuous bead, fresh mouldings, then the camera behind the mirror recalibrated in our own bay.
