We bring the van to Pelham and Pelham Manor at the same price you would pay in the bay, with no trip charge. Allow about an hour on site, plus roughly an hour before bonded glass is safe to drive on. We need a level spot, room around the car and dry conditions.

The honest answer for Pelham is that mobile works at some addresses and not at others, and it is better to establish that on the phone than at the kerb. Village driveways are often short, sloped toward the street and shared with a fence or a hedge on one side, and a technician needs to be able to walk the full length of the car with a pane of glass in his hands. Where the space is there, the job is exactly what it would be in the bay.
Where it is not, you are eight to ten minutes down the Post Road and bringing the car in is easy. We would rather say that than turn up and improvise badly. Chip repair is the job that almost always travels, since there is no adhesive and the van needs little more than access to the front of the car. Bonded work, meaning windshields, back glass and roof panels, needs dry weather as well as space, because urethane will not cure properly in the wet and a rushed seal is not something you can see until it leaks. Everything else is the same as it would be in the bay, including the lifetime workmanship warranty.
“Stained glass on our front door needed cleaning and resealing. Work was done by another company but seal broke again. Diamond did the job and the triple pane glass came out crystal clear equal to or better than new. Work was performed by…”

The village and the Manor differ more than the shared name suggests when it comes to mobile work. Around Wolfs Lane and the streets off Fifth Avenue the plots are tight, cars park nose to tail on narrow roads, and there is frequently no legal place to put a van beside the car for ninety minutes. Down toward Shore Road and the larger properties in Pelham Manor there is usually room to work comfortably. The other Pelham factor is the garages, which were built narrow enough that most people park in front of them rather than inside, and a car on the driveway in front of a garage is generally easier for us than a car squeezed into one.
Same service, same price, other New Rochelle neighborhoods:
Usually, though some of the older village blocks are genuinely tight, particularly when both sides are parked up. What matters more than the street is where the car itself is standing, because we work around the vehicle rather than out of the back of the van. Send us the address when you book and we will look at it. If it is not going to work we will say so upfront.
For bonded glass we reschedule, and we do it early rather than turning up hopeful. Urethane needs dry conditions to cure to full strength, and a windshield set in the wet is a seal that may hold or may not, which is not a coin worth flipping on a structural part. If we can work under cover we will. Chip repairs are unaffected and go ahead regardless.
