The one thing worth planning around in New Rochelle is downtown parking. Metered spaces along the Main Street blocks turn over constantly and the streets either side carry construction traffic from the high-rise work that has run here for years, so setting up a van beside a car for ninety minutes is not always realistic on those blocks.
