Port Chester is the densest village on this stretch of the Sound and the parking tells you so. Between the apartment buildings off Westchester Avenue, the shopping centre lots by the water and the street parking on the blocks around Main Street, a lot of cars here spend every night outside. That shapes the work. We replace more tempered side and rear glass for 10573 than for most of the towns nearer to us.
That job rewards doing it properly. Tempered glass does not crack, it lets go into thousands of cubes, and most of them end up inside the door skin, in the seat rails and worked down into the carpet. From Port Chester, I-95 south is the direct run, four or five exits down to downtown New Rochelle, roughly twenty minutes when the road is behaving. The Boston Post Road is the alternative and turns into Main Street once you are in New Rochelle, slower but simpler. The Metro-North station is close enough to walk, so if you commute you can leave the car with us and pick it up on the way home.
